Today I am going to write down a brief Star Trek Online Energy Credits guide. Hope you find this useful.
So, there are quite a few ways to make Star Trek Online Energy Credits. Players can trade or sell off the gear they get from mobs they kill. They can complete quests and missions. They can unlock new worlds or simply trade items back and forth on the exchange. They can even buy cheap STO Energy Credits from online stores.
One of the more exciting ways to unlock new Star Trek Online credit sources is to start crafting. By the time you reach Tier 3, you’ll be able to start crafting your own MK VIII and higher items, making back your cheap STO Energy Credits and preparing for end-game raids and raidisodes.
But, unfortunately, all of these STO credit options will take a tremendous amount of time to complete and will never get you enough Energy Credits to tackle the really high end gear of the game. One of the most telling aspects of the game’s STO credit grind is the route from Tier 1 to Tier 3 in crafting.
How to Farm STO Energy Credits in Crafting
The farming process for crafting is very time consuming. It starts at Level 4 with Lt. Commander E’Genn on Earth Spacedock and eventually takes you to the other scientists for Tier 2 and 3 who will unlock new levels and new items to craft.
To reach Tier 2, you need to only craft 7,000 STO Energy Credits worth of gear. However, to reach Tier 3, you’ll need to craft almost 1 million STO Energy Credits worth of gear (to unlock Tactical, Science, and Engineering Tiers). This is only to unlock the higher tiers, after which you still need to actually craft all those high end MK VIII, MK IX, and MK X items.
In the end, it will take most players the better part of a month or two to reach the upper end gear and finally start making real profits on their Star Trek Online Energy Credits investment. This is only one way to make STO Energy Credits of course, but the other ways are equally time consuming and some of them are far less interesting (including the much maligned Exchange which is hard to use and time consuming).
If you’re really interested in making solid profits and loading up on Star Trek Online Energy Credits, the easiest way to do it is to have a good chunk of capital already in hand by getting cheap STO Energy Credits and to save all that farming time for something more fun – like exploration or missions. That’s where you can buy STO Energy Credits instead –using a reputable company with a long history of good prices and quick delivery.
